Rubbish generated at Wedge from commercial fishing operations, recreational shack owners and visitors such as campers, beach fishers and tourists, has been managed onsite via two facilities:
– Domestic Rubbish Tip (putrescibles)
– Scrap Metal Dump (Large metal items and building material)
This approach has been normal practice followed by isolated town sites, in rural communities and on farms.
