As part of the ongoing battle to save the shacks at Wedge, the urban planning consultant that WIPA has engaged is planning on taking some high resolution photos of the settlement from a helicopter. This will involve reasonably low level flying, down to 300m over most of the shacks at Wedge and is planned for the end of September or early October.
Importantly this portion of work is being done “pro bono” and will give the consultant additional information to help with the ongoing planning exercise.
