03 Apr ANZAC DAY – Dawn Service
On Thursday 25 April 2019 (WIPA) – Wedge Island Protection Association will be hosting its annual Anzac Day Dawn Service.
We ask everyone to assemble at the Wedge Island Helicopter Pad, adjacent to the First Aid Post by 5.50am.
Dawn Service will commence at 6.00am -Sharp.
Tea, Coffee, Soup and Sausage Sizzle will be available before and after the ceremony – Gold Coin Donation.
Please bring along your favourite cup/spoon for the delicious homemade soup.
Normally it’s pretty chilly at dawn so bring along your winter woollies and the essential ‘Wedge Beanie’.
It’s not unusual to get a bit of rain on Anzac Day, pack an umbrella just in case!
